The third passenger, Michael LaVecchia III, 13, was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Paterson where was declared brain dead just before noon yesterday. The boy will remain on life support until his organs could be donated.
According to initial investigations, both LaVecchias (elder and son,13) were wearing their seatbelts, while LaBoy, the backseat passenger, was not.
