Authorities have released surveillance photos of yesterday's Newark bank robbery suspect.
According to a spokesperson for the FBI, an unarmed male suspect walked into the Crown Bank located in the 100 block of Ferry Street sometime before 5 p.m. and handed the teller a note.
The suspect - only described as a black male last seen wearing a blue hat and a white shirt - was seen running east on Ferry Street. He reportedly escaped with less than $1,000, according to officials.
