UPDATE: Spotswood Man Faces Additional Charges for Explicit Contact with Juveniles

Authorities in Middlesex County announced that Raymond Remus, 45, of Spotswood, was additionally charged with Explicit Contact and Endangering the Welfare of a Child due to additional victims coming forward.

Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said Detective John Fedak of the Spotswood Police Department and Detective Ryan Kirsh of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office commenced an investigation regarding allegations of Explicit Contact by Remus upon two juvenile victims.

According to officials, on August 22, Remus was arrested without incident and charged with first-degree Aggravated Explicit Contact, second-degree Explicit Contact, and second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child by engaging in explicit conduct relating to the original two victims.

Subsequently, officials say, two additional juvenile victims were identified, and based upon further investigation, Remus was additionally charged with two counts of second-degree Explicit Contact and two counts of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child based upon explicit conduct with juveniles under the age of 18- years old.

Remus is currently being housed in the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center due to his Pre-Trial Detention hearing, officials said.
