An overnight shooting outside a Clifton liquor store has a family mourning the loss of 21-year-old aspiring rapper.
Leandro Mendoza and another employee of Lexington Liquors - located at 432 Lexington Avenue - had just closed the store for the night, when an armed man with his face covered attacked them shortly after 2 a.m.
Mendoza was killed while the other employee suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Police are investigating if the liquor store or if the men were perhaps the target.
The liquor store, which opened back in May, is owned by Mendoza's cousin.
