NJ Transit Police are looking into the cause of a crash that sent several people to the hospital in Atlantic County on Thursday evening.
NJ Transit officials said, at approximately 5:28 p.m., a Route No. 554 bus operating from Atlantic City to Lindenwold was struck by a motor vehicle in the vicinity of Shore Road and Ohio Avenue in Absecon.
According to NJ Transit, 12 customers and the operator on board were transported to local hospitals.
The injuries on board the bus were reported to be non-life-threatening, NJ Transit officials said.
Absecon Police are leading the investigation.
