Authorities have announced that authorities have arrested a second suspect in connection with the November 30th killing of Jonas Larose in Orange.
Authorities said Larose, a cab driver from West Orange was fatally shot at approximately 11:00 p.m.
A fifteen year old juvenile was arrested on December 2, 2016 and charged with the murder of Larose authorities said.
While continuing the investigation, detectives from Essex County Prosecutor’s Homicide Task Force arrested a second suspect this morning in Orange.
Sheedley Pierre, age 20, of Orange was taken into custody earlier today, according to Chief Assistant Prosecutor Thomas S. Fennelly.
Pierre has been charged with Felony murder, robbery and conspiracy, according to Fennelly.
Bail has been set at $500,000 by the Hon. Alphonse Cifelli, J.S.C. Pierre has been lodged in the Essex County Correctional Facility and he will be arraigned in Superior Court at a later date.
Prosecutor Murray has commended the work by the members of the Homicide Task Force
