Police officials in Newark request the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals who are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on Friday, June 7th.
According to a statement released by Newark Police, shortly after 10 a.m., police responded to Gas/Diesel Gas Station, located at 1285 McCarter Highway, on a call of a robbery.
Officials say two males approached the attendants and stole approximately $653.00 from them in total.
Police described the first suspect as 6’2” tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded sweater and dark blue jeans.
According to police, the remaining suspect is also approximately 6’2” tall -with a slim build- and wore a black hooded sweater and light blue jeans.
Robbery detectives investigating this incident obtained photos of the suspects and are seeking the public’s assistance in quickly identifying them.
