A shooting incident unfolded near a Paterson funeral home, causing concern within the community.
Around 3 p.m., multiple sounds of gunfire erupted in the community, prompting officers to scramble to the 200 block of Rosa Parks Boulevard.
Upon their arrival, officers found shell casings scattered in the parking lot of Braggs Funeral Home at 256 Rosa Parks Boulevard.
Despite an extensive search of the community, no victims were discovered.
As authorities continue their investigation, they are actively working to apprehend the suspect, who fled from the scene and is currently evading capture.
