Police continue to search for a man who they say threaten to shoot if teller did not comply with demand for money.
Police responded to M&T Bank shortly after 4 p.m. for a report of a bank robbery.
Upon arrival, bank officials told police a man with a white towel on his head, walked up to the teller with a plastic bag and demanded cash.
According to police, although weapon was not shown, the man allegedly threatened to shoot employees.
The suspect - only described as a medium build white male, believed to be between 25 to 35 years of age - was last seen wearing sneakers, khaki pants, a white, long-sleeved tee-shirt, a dark-colored baseball cap and sunglasses.
The robbery is under investigation by Lyndhurst police, the Bergen County Sheriff and the FBI.
The amount of cash taken remains unknown at this time.
