A Ringwood boy was flown to the hospital after he was struck by a car last night.
Police responded to Meadowbrook Avenue shortly after 6:30 p.m. for a report of a child struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, police found that an unidentified boy riding his bike was struck by a vehicle, driven by a 17-year-old female.
The boy was airlifted to St. Joseph's Medical Center with leg and possible internal injuries.
According to preliminary investigations, the boy who was struck by the car, allegedly drove directly in front of the car.
The incident remains under investigation.
