Police officials in Newark are continuing to investigate a rash of vandalized vehicles that reportedly began on Thanksgiving night where suspects stripped the wheels off of cars and leaving them on cinder blocks.
In the latest incident, police were called to the North Ward community of 7th Avenue on Friday morning after residents reported seeing a while vehicle stripped of its wheels.
Units arrived at the scene and found the badly damaged car and requested a tow truck to remove it from that location.
Newark Police are looking into at least three other incidents where suspects stripped cars in the city's West and South wards on Thanksgiving night.
The suspects remain at-large.
