Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one man injured on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
The incident took place at approximately 11:54 a.m. near the intersection of South Burnet Street and Central Avenue.
According to law enforcement officials, a resident of East Orange sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
Emergency responders transported the victim to University Hospital, where he received treatment before being discharged.
Investigators have determined that a handgun was used in the shooting.
However, as of now, no arrests have been made, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
Detective F. Lantigua is leading the inquiry, and authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
