Passaic County officials announce that at approximately 9:00 a.m. on September 9, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Carroll Street and Governor Street in Paterson on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department located a 39-year-old male Kingston, Pennsylvania resident and a 60-year-old female Paterson resident inside a residence on Carroll Street.
Both victims suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds and were transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment. The 39-year-old male is currently in critical condition.
A potential crime scene was located in the area of Carroll Street and Governor Street.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
