UPDATE: Police Arrest Woman Wanted for Allegedly Attacking Man Then Stealing His Car

Newark's Fugitive Apprehension Team has arrested Ms. Raejean German, 20, of Newark, who police say is wanted for an aggravated assault and theft that occurred on Tuesday, March 20th.

According to a statement released by police, at approximately 9:40 a.m., a man victim reported that he was approached then threatened by a female and an armed man.

Police say the two suspects took the victim’s car after he fled the scene.

Detectives investigating this incident gathered sufficient evidence to identify German as the female suspect in this incident and obtained a warrant for her arrest on the charges of aggravated assault and theft.

Police took German into custody without incident on Tuesday.

These charges are merely accusations.

The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The male suspect involved in this incident remains at large and is described as 5’6” tall, clean shaven, and last observed wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and white sneakers.
