The Atlantic County Major Crimes Unit and the Egg Harbor Township Police Department are investigating a shooting that killed a man in Egg Harbor Township on Friday morning.
According to county officials, the victim has been identified as Charles Wynn, 31, of Pleasantville.
An autopsy was performed on Mr. Wynn, where the cause of death was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds and the manner was deemed a homicide.
Officials stated that on August 19, at approximately 4:08 a.m., the Egg Harbor Township Police Department responded to a 911 emergency call at 6805 Delilah Road, Egg Harbor Township, for a report of a male gunshot victim.
According to police officials, after their arrival, the victim was subsequently pronounced deceased.
This incident is still under investigation.
