Emergency responders are on the scene of a plane crash that occurred in an industrial section of Carlstadt a short time ago.
The crash happened in the 90's block of Kero Road, DPW facilities lot, at around 3:30 p.m.
According to preliminary reports, the Learjet 35 left Philadelphia International Airport to Teterboro Airport and was preparing to land at runway one where it crashed at around 3:30 p.m after coming about a half-mile short of the runway.
The plane reportedly struck into the garage of the DPW building, and several other buildings and cars reports said.
Much of the fire has been extinguished. Crews are checking for injuries.
The FAA are making their way to the scene.
