Authorities in Passaic County reported that at approximately 11:53 p.m. Saturday, Paterson Police responded to the area of Clinton and North Main streets on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police located a potential crime scene, but no victim was found.
Shortly after that, Paterson Police officials were advised that a 41- year-old male Plainfield resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center via private vehicle seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
