Officials from the NJ State Police identified the victim of an early morning fatal crash that happened on the Garden State Parkway.
According to a spokesperson for the State Police, at around 6:03 a.m., police responded to reports of a crash with injuries near mile marker 137.8 in Cranford.
Officers arriving at the scene located a Toyota Camry off the highway and severely damaged after striking a tree at the location.
The driver, Raymond Andreola, 28, of Pittstown PA was found inside the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle Andreola was occupying was a Toyota Camry officials said.
There were no other injuries or vehicles involved.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the NJ State Police.
