In a recent update from Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, it was reported that a shooting incident occurred in Paterson, leading to one individual being injured.On Friday, December 1, at approximately 6:28 p.m., Paterson Police Department officers were called to the intersection of Broadway and Washington Street following reports of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officials said officers discovered a 20-year-old male suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The victim was promptly transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
Police also identified a potential crime scene in the vicinity.As the investigation into the shooting continues, authorities have not yet released further details.
The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is actively seeking information from the public and urges anyone with knowledge about this incident to come forward.
