Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in Linden on Tuesday night.
According to police, on September 1 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Linden Police officers responded to the 400 block of Maple Avenue on reports of a stabbing.
Police report that, upon arrival, officers found a 40-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the chest.
According to officials, he was treated by Linden Fire Department personnel on scene and then transported to Trinitas Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police believe that the incident was related to a domestic dispute.
At this time, no one has been arrested related to the stabbing.
