One person was killed this afternoon in a fire on the 30's block of Galloping Hill Road, according to officials.
Sometime after 4 p.m., first responders were called to 31 Galloping Hill Road for reports of heavy fire coming from the home with possible entrapments.
Upon arrival, crews worked aggressively to place fire under control but despite their efforts, an unidentified woman and a dog died in the blaze.
A fire fighter was also injured but it unclear at this time the extent of his injuries.
