An early morning house fire that burned through a three story house in Orange now has emergency crews searching the debris of the collapsed house for several missing residents.
The two-alarm fire broke out inside the house located at 251 High Street shortly after 5:20 a.m. reportedly trapped at least three people who were inside according to authorities.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office were called to the scene and was able to confirm one fatality but would not release the victim's identity according to a spokesperson.
Several people suffered minor smoke inhalation injuries and at least a dozen residents have been displaced.
