Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Chief Christopher F. Cannizzo of the East Hanover Police Department confirm the investigation of a fire occurring on Kimble Place, in East Hanover.
Officials say approximately 7:57 p.m., police and fire officials were dispatched to Kemble Place on a report of a residential fire.
Responders located an active fire to a single-family dwelling.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that the fire resulted in two (2) fatalities.
The investigation remains ongoing and the identities of the individuals will not be released at this time.
