Elizabeth School District officials have confirmed this afternoon that the child who died from the Influenza Virus in Elizabeth was a student at Nicholas LaCorte - Peterstown School #3.
The Elizabeth School District said that although the New Jersey Department of Health is continuing it’s investigation into the child’s death, all Elizabeth schools are open and clean.
All parents should feel comfortable sending their children to school tomorrow.
According to a GofundMe page created by Erika Genaro, the child was identified as Daniela Genaro.
