Police in Newark seeks the public’s help in identifying a vehicle driven by a male wanted in connection with a business robbery that occurred on yesterday -Wednesday-.
According to police, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the driver of a Blue Chevrolet Equinox pulled into the Millennium Gas Station at Bloomfield Avenue and Garside Street.
Police say when the attendant went to service the alleged customer, the suspect brandished a gun, took the attendant’s cash, re-entered his car and fled west on Bloomfield Avenue.
Detectives investigating this incident describe the suspect as a Hispanic male wearing a black mask, a hoodie, and a baseball cap.
There were no physical injuries reported.
