Police announced the arrest of a 19-year-old Newark man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.
According to police, authorities received several 911 calls reporting a man hitting a woman inside a moving car on the Garden State Parkway.
Further Investigations revealed that a 27-year-old man and his girlfriend were driving on Bloomfield Avenue at about 5:25 a.m. Sunday when Enyer Almonte-Sanchez (ex-boyfriend) rammed their car with his vehicle. lmonte-Sanchez then allegedly got out of his car and stabbed the new boyfriend, forcing the female into his car.
Police located vehicle, knife allegedly used in the stabbing leading to the arrest of Almonte-Sanchez.
The stabbed 27-year-old man was transported to University Hospital for treatment.
Incident remains under investigation.
