Authorities announced the arrest of Robert Berrian, 22, of Newark, who was wanted for an armed robbery that occurred Friday.
According to police, at approximately 9:25 p.m., police responded to Martin Luther King Boulevard near Spruce Street to a call of a robbery.
Police said two victims, a male, and a female, arrived at the location to sell an Xbox to an unknown man they had arranged to meet there.
The male robbed the couple at gunpoint, also taking the Xbox police said.
Detectives developed evidence that identified Robert Berrian as the suspect in this armed robbery.
Police apprehended Berrigan last night in the 700-block of South 19th Street and charged him with robbery and resisting arrest.
These charges are merely accusations.
The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
