A fast moving two-alarm fire that ignited inside a house in Irvington left nearly two dozen people displaced this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to 12 Roosevelt Terrace shortly before 2:15 p.m. where crews arrived to find heavy fire coming from the second floor of the three story house.
Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire then search the home for injured or trapped occupants.
There were no injuries reported.
About 24 people were assisted by the American Red Cross for temporary housing.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
