Update: Multi-Vehicle Crash Injures Four Roselle, Linden Residents

A multi-vehicle crash Saturday evening sent as many as four people to the hospital with injuries.

Police responded to a report of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries at McCandless Street and E. Henry Street Saturday at approximately 10:21 p.m.b according to police.

The driver of a 2000 Toyota Camry, a 22-year-old Roselle man, complained of head pain and told officers he temporarily lost consciousness.

He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway for treatment police said.

The second vehicle involved, a 2008 Toyota Camry, driven by 23-year-old Linden man, complained of an arm injury. His passenger, a 40-year-old Linden man, suffered a broken leg, while the rear seat passenger, a 19-year-old Linden woman, complained of side pain.

All three were transported to University Hospital in Newark.

The third vehicle, a 2204 Nissan Murano, was parked and left at the scene.

The other two vehicles were towed to the impound yard.

The accident is under investigation by the Traffic Bureau.
