A New Jersey ticket has clinched the $1.13 billion Mega Millions jackpot.As anticipation builds for the winner to step forward and claim their colossal prize, the New Jersey Lottery is set to celebrate the lucky retailer responsible for selling the winning ticket.
A special ceremony is scheduled for today (Wednesday), during which James A. Carey, the New Jersey Lottery Executive Director, and Richard Saker, President and CEO of Saker ShopRites, will present a $30,000 bonus check.
This event will honor the ShopRite Liquor in Neptune Township for its role in selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
The presentation will begin at 12:00 p.m. at ShopRite Liquor #781, located at 2200 Route 66.
