UPDATE: Missing Newark Senior with Dementia Located Safely

The Newark Police Department has successfully located Ms. Linda Glenn, a 75-year-old woman with dementia who had been reported missing since Friday.

PUERTO RicoMs. Glenn was found this afternoon in the downtown area by police officers patrolling the vicinity of Branford Street between Washington Street and Halsey Street.

Police said Ms. Glenn, a resident of Roseville Manor in the 200 block of Roseville Avenue, was last seen leaving the facility at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Friday.

Missing She was described as being 5'4" tall, weighing 105 pounds, and wearing black pants, a black shirt, a sparkling black coat, and a bright red wig.

Ms. Glenn appeared to be in good condition upon her discovery. She will be safely returned to her family.

Authorities extend their gratitude to the community and law enforcement personnel who assisted in the search efforts.
