Passaic County authorities reported that at approximately 4:27 p.m. on Friday, Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of East 19th Street and 8th Avenue on a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, police located a potential crime scene and a 21-year-old female and a 28-year-old male, both Paterson residents, who had each sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds.
Police say victims were immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, for treatment.
Based on the initial investigation, the victims were in the area of East 19th Street and 8th Avenue when several actors began shooting, striking the victims.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
