In a shocking Saturday evening discovery, Trenton Police are currently investigating an incident where two individuals, a male and a female, were found dead in a garage attached to the former Championship Bar, located at the intersection of Chambers Street and Morris Avenue.
The grim find was made around noon.
Responders from Trenton Emergency Medical Services and Capital Health paramedics were swiftly on the scene, where both individuals were pronounced deceased.
The case has garnered significant attention, prompting involvement from the Mercer County Homicide Task Force, although foul play has not yet been confirmed.
As the investigation unfolds, the State Regional Medical Examiner's Office is also actively involved, working to ascertain the cause of death.
It is not clear how long the bodies were inside the garage at this time.
The identities of the deceased have not been released, and the community awaits further details as authorities continue their investigation into this tragic event.
