Newark Police officials seek the public’s help with identifying a suspect who is wanted for questioning in connection with a carjacking incident on August 23.
According to police, the incident occurred at approximately 8:08 p.m.in the 100 block of Roseville Avenue when two Black males approached the victim.
Police said one of them wore all gray clothing and the other was wearing all black.
The suspect in gray pulled out a handgun and demanded that the victim give up his car keys before striking him in the head with the weapon.
Police said both suspects took the victim's personal belongings, including a wallet and iPhone, and drove away in his vehicle.
