State police have identified the man struck and killed early this morning on the New Jersey Turnpike.
According to officials, police responded to the northbound truck lanes of the Turnpike near Exit 7 around 3:50 a.m., where a white truck struck and ultimately killed, Masud Mustafa, 25, of Chesterfield.
Mustafa was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation as to why
Mustafa was crossing the Turnpike is ongoing.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene.
The invent remains under investigation by the State Police Department.
