Authorities in Passaic County reported that at approximately 11:20 p.m. on Friday, February 4, Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of 285 Van Houten Street in Paterson in response to shots fired.
Upon their arrival, authorities said officers located a male victim lying on the roadway in front of that address with apparent gunshot wounds.
Medical personnel arrived and the male victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
The victim’s identification is pending further investigation.
