According to HCPO officials, a post-mortem examination report issued by the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office on February 24, determined Ricardo Bory, 58, of Guttenberg, died of Homicidal Violence and the Manner of Death to be Homicide.

Cole now faces two counts of Murder, Hudson County officials say.

Hudson County authorities said that on Saturday, November 23, 2024, shortly after 10 p.m., the Guttenberg Police Department was notified of two unresponsive males inside a residence at 209 71st Street.

HCPO officials said the males – later identified as Justo Bory and Ricardo Bory – were pronounced dead at the scene.

During the initial response, the Guttenberg Police Department arrested Cole for interfering with the investigation, according to HCPO officials stated.

Hudson County authorities said that Cole has been detained at the Hudson County Correctional Facility since the arrest.
