Update: Man Arrested in PA Accused of Fatally Shooting East Orange Man

A 23-year-old man wanted for the fatal shooting of an East Orange man was captured today by the FBI and local police in Pennsylvania.

A morning raid at an Eastern Pennsylvania home, led local police and the FBI to the arrest of Damon Hairston.

A warrant was issued for Hairston after the April 21 shooting that killed a 29-year-old Marcellus Mayes of East Orange, Essex County Prosecutor's Office spokeswoman Katherine Carter announced.

An arraignment is expected sometime today in Pennsylvania so that he may be extradited back to Essex County where a judge ordered him held on $750,00 bond.

Mayes was found dead in the area of Hedden Place and North 15th Street.
