Authorities in Passaic County announced that at approximately 11:46 p.m. on Christmas Day, the Paterson Police Department was dispatched to meet a 41-year-old male victim from Paterson who was suffering from a nonfatal gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, Paterson Police said.
According to Passaic County officials, police were informed the shooting took place in the area of 12th Avenue and Carroll Street.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, officials say.
Passaic County officials stated that more information will be released once it becomes available.
