UPDATE: Linden Police Arrest Alleged AMC Movie Theater Car Vandals

Linden – Two Linden men have been arrested and charged with vandalizing vehicles in a local movie theater parking lot.

Police said Joye Dossantos-Rosario, 21, and Kyle Williams, 22, are charged with third-degree criminal mischief after a series of vehicles were damaged at the AMC Aviation 12 Movie Theater.

According to police, at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19th Officers responded to S. Stiles St after patrons exited the theater and found damage to their cars.

Authorities said officers also located a video of the incident posted on Instagram.

An investigation led by Detective Joseph Kaulfers identified the suspects in the video and a number of the victims, many of whom did not initially report the damage to Police.

Detectives arrested the men on Thursday, September 14th without incident.

Both were later released pending an appearance in Superior Court later this week.

“We are proud of the work done to arrest these men,” said Linden Police Chief Jonathan Parham. “This kind of behavior will not be tolerated, and we will persevere in apprehending anyone who engages in it.”

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
