A 22-year-old Linden man has been arrested following a stabbing incident in the early hours of today.
Officers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance on the 200 block of Grant Street at approximately 12:30 a.m., where they discovered a 20-year-old woman with stab wounds.
According to authorities, the victim was treated at the scene before being transported to Newark University Hospital, where she is currently in stable condition.
The suspect, identified as Kyeshon Downer, was taken into custody at the scene.
He faces multiple charges, including second-degree aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and terroristic threats.
