Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 5:00 p.m. on April 2, Paterson Police Department was dispatched to the area of East 28th Street and 8th Avenue on a report of a shooting.
According to Paterson Police, upon arrival, officers located a potential crime scene and a 21-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Police say the victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
