Passaic County officials are reporting that at approximately 1:51 a.m. on February 10, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Dover Street and Oak Street in Paterson on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department were unable to locate evidence of a shooting, nor a shooting victim.
While checking the immediate area, members of the Paterson Police Department located a 41-year-old female Hawthorne resident in the area Oak Street and Martin Street who sustained multiple non-fatal gunshot wounds, as well as a potential crime scene.
Police say the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment and is in critical condition.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
