Passaic County Officials said at approximately 3:34 p.m. on July 4, 2021, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 20-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Based on the initial investigation, official say it was determined that the victim was walking in the area of 20th Avenue and Gray Street when an unknown individual fired gunshots from a passing motor vehicle.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
