Police reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident in Newark's West Ward Saturday.
It happened around noon on Munn Avenue between Tremont and South Orange Avenue.
Police responded to 911 calls reporting several shots fired and when they arrived, officers found shell casings, but a search of the area around Bradley Court Housing projects indicated no victims.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been apprehended.
Police have not reported the motive for the shooting.
