A 76-year-old woman attempting to cross a city street is in critical condition after she was struck by a vehicle this afternoon.
Police responded to the intersection of Broadway and 3rd Avenue at approximately 4 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian struck.
Upon arrival, officers found the injured woman - whose identity was not released - suffering from unspecified injuries.
The pedestrian was transported to University Hospital were she is listed in critical condition.
The driver - who remained at the scene - has not been issued any summonses.
