Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and Director Kenneth P. McCormick of the North Brunswick Police Department announce today that authorities are investigating the fatal crash that occurred in the Township early this morning.
The identity of the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, is not being released pending notification to the family.
The crash which involved three vehicles occurred at approximately 4:11 am on Route 1 Southbound in the vicinity of the Walmart located at 979 US 1.
The investigation into the crash is active and continuing.
