Mercer County officials confirmed that the fatal gunshot wound in the head of a man in Ewing Township was self-inflicted.
According to officials, at approximately 9:30 p.m., police responded to reports of an injured person at an address in the 500 block of Sutherland Road.
Upon arrival, they found an unidentified male suffering a bullet wound in his head at that location.
Police say medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Officials say they are continuing to investigate the incident.
