Police officials reported no serious injuries in a crash that occurred in Newark Thursday.
At approximately 6:45 p.m., emergency responders rushed to the intersection of West Market and 6th streets to investigate reports of a crash.
Upon arrival, police found the crashed vehicle on fire with a person inside at that location, according to police officials.
The individual was assisted out of the car without injuries while firefighters extinguished the fire.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and no other vehicles were involved, according to police officials.
