Trenton Police are leading the investigation into a shooting that sent two people to the hospital last evening.
On Wednesday, just after 5:30 pm, two adult males were critically injured in a drive-by shooting at the intersection of Spring Street and Calhoun Street.
Trenton's Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the victims to Capital Health Trauma Center for medical attention.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found one of the male victims had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, including wounds to the right upper arm, left abdomen, and upper left thigh.
As a result, Trento Police said he had to be flown to Philadelphia for further treatment.
The other individual suffered gunshot wounds to the right forearm and abdomen and was listed as in critical but stable condition at the hospital.
Police said two women also suffered minor injuries during the incident.
Trenton Police discovered more than 30 casings scattered throughout the street as part of their investigation.
Authorities did not disclose any information about the suspects involved in the shooting. Trenton's Shooting Response team is working to determine the motive for the attack.
